Licensing & Training
- Tattoo artists must work in a licensed tattoo facility.
- Each tattoo shop must obtain a Body Art Establishment License from the Ohio Department of Health.

- Studios must meet sanitation and sterilization standards and undergo health inspections.
- Strict hygiene protocols, including autoclave sterilization, must be followed.
- Clients must be given aftercare instructions after every tattoo.

- Minors under 18 years old must have parental consent to receive a tattoo.
